The beginning

Updated: Nov 8, 2025

Since the beginning of the mud museum, I have managed to bring joy and spread cheer to all who have visited. And it all has to do with the mud! A lot of people who come to our equipment yard would complain about how muddy it is, and ask how we manage it. The answer is simple, you take something that could be negative, and make it positive! A sloppy muddy mess has been formed into beautiful sculptures! I never expected it to be what it is today. I started by making simple mud balls and then tried different techniques and shapes to achieve diversity between each piece. Next came the eyeballs which turned them into much more unique pieces, and from there, a wide range of ideas was formed. Now, the sky is the limit and there's no reason to give up! The texture of the mud is satisfying and molds easily, almost like clay. It keeps the kid in me alive and well - which is important in this busy and disconnected world. February 2nd, I launched this website on a whim and I never expected it to blow up the way it did. Now I have T-shirts, a website, and bigger better sculptures. Who knew!? My first visitors were the kindest people and were so happy to see what I have created. They even stopped by recently to drop off gifts that I can use to build even more unique pieces. I am thankful for them and people like you who find this just as fun as I do. Within the first two weeks of the birth of the website, I have reached over 100 visitors, 5 in person visits, and sold over 40 T-shirts!! I am thrilled that I was able to make this happen and am looking forward to the future!
